JANE JACKSON President Email Jane ABOUT JANE... Jane Jackson has been in the tourism business pretty well her entire life… and we’re not getting specific here. Starting as a tour guide in her teens, to coordinating creative itineraries and having contact with the wonderful clients. Jane loves her job because of the variety… variety of people there are to deal with, variety of itineraries to design for each client… not to mention the opportunity to attend trade shows and conventions. Personal sales calls are a favourite way to meet people as well! Jane is involved in volunteer work with various animal rescues. Jane resides in Niagara Falls with her husband and 2 rescue dogs and 1 cat. |
JANICE McILWAIN Marketing Email Janice ABOUT JANICE... I started out in the tourism industry many years ago working for a local tour company. As I worked in tourism locally, I realized I wanted to become involved more in the industry as a whole. It was not only a fun industry, it was very satisfying work putting you in contact with many wonderful people. I’ve been active for many years and have had the opportunity to serve on many boards and committees both locally and internationally. While serving as President of the National Tour Association I had the privilege of traveling world wide and meeting many friends in all categories of the industry. When asked what my favorite part of being President of the National Tour Association was, I always answer “all the great people that I was able to meet!” I’m so happy to be able to work with Jane and the group at True Rainbow Tours. Doreen Wilson Tour Specialist Email Doreen ABOUT DOREEN... We are pleased to welcome Doreen Wilson BACK to True Rainbow Tours, Inc! Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Doreen comes with a diverse background in tourism. From the restaurant business, to the excitement of the casino scene, she always had a keen interest in the hospitality industry… Doreen joined Rainbow in 2007 for a time and was a client favourite! Doreen loves people, dealing with tour operators and coming up with new and interesting group tour itineraries. For a bit, Doreen left the receptive operator side of the business to dip her toes into the hotel business. We couldn’t stay apart though, so when a position became available, True Rainbow was fortunate enough to be able to bring Doreen back on to continue her relationships with her tour industry colleagues! We are happy to have her back, and look forward to working together with all our tour operator and supplier friends! Doreen is the mother of 2, and very proud grandmother of 4 beautiful kids. Doreen lives in Niagara Falls, and loves to have company and entertain, and enjoys going out with friends for the occasional night on the town… as long as it’s not too late mind you! She has a part-time adopted maine coon cat named Lynx who is great company! |

Accounting Email Jackie ABOUT JACKIE... Jackie West is a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. Years ago, she had an introduction to the hospitality industry, and pursued her interest in in this field, becoming a Niagara College tourism graduate. Jackie continued in the hospitality industry, working for the Niagara Parks Commission in their varied restaurants and attractions, as well as spending a little time in her stint as a step-on tour guide, and finally, working in the accounting end of the business with True Rainbow Tours. Anyone who knows Jackie knows that her favourite role in life is as the mother of 2, and a proud “meemaw”. Jackie resides in Niagara Falls with her daughter, as well as her dog affectionately named Teddy. |
